We build tools to support the people who make that possible: educators, leaders and families. Our purpose is to help them bring more care, curiosity and intention to the early years.
Our story starts in early childhood
Mana’s story is rooted in early childhood education. Our co-founder Himal Randeniya grew up around his mum’s home-based service and later her preschool in Ermington, New South Wales. In a family of teachers, conversations about learning were part of everyday life. That connection to children, educators and the work of running a service remains at the heart of Mana.

to Mana

We began as LoveHeart, with a focus on easing documentation pressures and supporting educators to develop their practice. The ambition behind that work was always bigger: an extraordinary start for every child.
Becoming Mana gave that ambition more room. Today, our work connects planning and documentation, professional growth, leadership visibility and family communication. Different services come to us with different needs. We want to help each one strengthen the practice that matters in its own community.
Quality lives in everyday moments
An educator notices a child trying something new. A team reflects on what it means and decides what to try next. A family shares an insight from home. A leader sees where encouragement or support could make a difference.
These everyday moments are why we build Mana. We believe technology should make it easier to connect the learning, conversations and decisions around a child, while keeping educators’ knowledge and professional judgement at the centre.
